Four thousand Aussies are currently diagnosed with dementia and at least 50 per cent experience chronic pain. But a revolutionary new app, called Pain Check is set to speed up the diagnosis and treatment for those sufferers. It uses artificial intelligence, such as facial recognition, to identify pain and suffering in patients and could potentially be used in children too. Great idea! #9Today
